South Africans get relief thanks to repo rate cut

JOHANNESBURG – The South African Reserve Bank finally announced much-needed interest rate cuts.
This is a relief to many South Africans as this is the first interest rate cut in four years.
The MPC cut the repo rate by 25 basis points as predicted by many economists.
It is currently 8 percent and the prime lending rate is 11.5 percent.
